Five winners of the Mini-grant competition have been selected

The Competition Commission included:

- Fr. Ihor Shaban, Head of the UGCC Patriarchal Commission on Interfaith and Interreligious Relations

- Fr. Mykhailo Syvak, Vice-Rector of the Lviv Orthodox Theological Academy of OCU

- Fr. Tomasz Milo, Vicar of the RCC’s parish in Kanie

- Halyna Bohonko, Administrative Director of IES

- Fr. Roman Fihas, coordinator of the IES’ Mini-grant competition.

All members of the commission previously received 13 application forms for processing, together with the budgets sent by applicants for participation in the competition. The members of the commission also received a criterion for processing applications. During the meeting, all members of the Competition Commission supported five projects that best correspond the criteria and demands of the IES' mini-grant competition.

Projects-winners:

- Interconfessional student seminar “New Library of Sofia-Wisdom: the search for common and the sharing of unique”, Fr. George Kovalenko, Kyiv

- “Ecological harmony of a man with God and nature”, Fr. Ruslan Korniat, Kopychyntsi

- “Ecumenical School of Spirituality”, Dukhovna Velych Lvova, Lviv

- “The School of Father”, Sinieoka Halyna, Lviv

- Ecumenical project “Farewell to the carol” Fr. Ihor Holovchak, Sukhovolya village

The next meeting of the Competition Commission is scheduled for the second half of May to review the reports on the projects.

The Mini-grant competition is organized by the Institute of Ecumenical Studies of the Ukrainian Catholic University with the support of the Fellowship and Aid to the Christians of the East “Oeuvre d'Orient” (France).
