Round table "The role of the Church in dealing with forced resettlers" was held

Speakers shared their visions of the Church’s way of helping resettlers. The first speaker was auxiliary bishop of the Kyiv Archdiocese UGCC Bishop Josyph Milian. With the report "Peculiarities of work with forced displaced Muslims from Crimea and Donbas" the Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Ukraine, the Mufti of Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Ukraine "Ummah" Sheikh Said Ismaiglov.

Coordinator of the project helping IDPs "Caritas-Ukraine" Hryhorii Seleshchuk revealed the theme of reconciliation on the example of Kramatorsk. Active discussion of cooperation between Christian and Muslim communities in the context of inter-religious ecumenism was held. The event was moderated by Rev. Dr. Iwan Dacko, President of the Institute of Ecumenical Studies.
