In her welcome speech Pedagogical Director of the Certificate Program "Medical, Psychological and Social Support for People with Special Needs" Oksana Vyniarska noted that it is very important in life to know how to give and take, and, in fact, on this concept the Program is based.

"In the tale of the Austrian author Lene Mayer-Skumanz "The Little Owl" parents-owls when taking from the nest into the world the smallest from their baby-birds, reminded it a few rules. One of them – to enjoy every, even the tiniest glimmer of light.

Other cocerned little owl’s fears to fly long distances: "you can learn how to fly only when flying" – they used to tell her. With these guidelines I speak to you. The Program showed you a direction. But where to go now – your decision. Finish – is one for all, but the beginning will be different for everyone," – Oksana Vyniarska said.

Teacher of the Program "Medical, Psychological and Social Support for People with Special Needs" Olena Dobrodniak noted the growth not only of students but also teachers: "professionals and parents were the participants. The experience and knowledge that we, teachers, have gained is invaluable. It can be achieved only when interacting with you." According to her, the fact that the Program has been operating for six years already, is a sign that society is not insensible to people with special needs.

The graduation ceremony was also attended by program’s supervisor of the International Federation "L'Arche" Jane Lyanhle, who congratulated the graduates on completion of studies and with a new start.
