"UGCC and OCU: The Ecumenical Aspect of Training Seminarians and Prospects for Academic Cooperation Based on the example of Kyiv Orthodox Theological Academy and Lviv Theological Seminary of the Holy Spirit"

As part of the study of the state of inter-confessional relations and the ecumenical situation in Ukraine, in 2021-22, the Institute for Ecumenical Studies of Ukrainian Catholic University conducted a comparative study of the inter-confessional component in the curricula of theological education and pastoral formation at two institutions: Kyiv Orthodox Theological Academy (Orthodox Church of Ukraine) and Lviv Theological Seminary of the Holy Spirit (Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church), at which the Faculty of Philosophy and Theology at Ukrainian Catholic University is the provider of a significant portion of the theological programme.
