At the initiative of the UCU Alumni Association, the Institute of Ecumenical Studies, the “Haliciana Scola Cantorum” Ukrainian-Swiss Artists Association, and the “Crescendo” Swiss Ecumenical Musicians Association, with the support of the Lviv City Council's Department of Culture, choirs and musicians of different denominations were gathered to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ together, and to foster ecumenical cooperation through the artistic initiatives.

The participants of the ecumenical-musician initiative became representatives of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, the Protestant community of Lviv, the Roman Catholic Church, the Armenian Apostolic Church and representatives of the Swiss ecumenical community of musicians.

The marathon contained of 7 videos that have been published daily on the Internet and included greetings from the clergy of various Churches and performances by choirs, solos or musicians.
