Conference was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Lviv pseudosynod, where leading scientists, scholars from Ukraine, Germany, Poland, Russia, Slovakia and Italy, representatives of state and church structures discussed the methods of the repressive anti-Church policy of Soviet power in Ukraine, and the experience of opposing totalitarian violence.
Rev. Dr. Iwan Dacko during the conference delivered a speech on "Perception and reaction to the "Lviv synod of 1946" of the Greek Catholic hierarchy in the diaspora" and stressed that the repressed church became an evidence of faith and has great historical experience for generations.
