Recollections with the participation of students of the Institute of Ecumenical Studies of Ukrainian Catholic University were held in the village of Strilky on March 20 – 22. This year's recollections course was introduced by Father Orest Demko, assistant of the rector of the UCU Fr. Bohdan Prah. He was leading the course for the students for the first time.

Ms. Helen Zorgdrager, a professor of systematic theology at the Protestant Theological University of Amsterdam, together with the believers of the Protestant Church of the Netherlands visited Ukraine in the end of April. They came from the province of Friesland in the north of the Netherlands and stayed in the country for one week. The purpose of the visit was social support of projects in Ukraine.

On May 3, 2015 students of MPES, employees of the Institute of Ecumenical Studies together with the guests from the Netherlands visited the monastery of Redemptorists in the village of Hnizdychiv. Ms. Helen Zorgdrager, systematic theology professor at the Protestant Theological University in Amsterdam initiated this trip.

On January 22nd in the chapel of the Presentation of the Ukrainian Catholic University priests of different confessions had a joint prayer for unity and peace in Ukraine. Inter-confessional prayer service was held at the World Week of Prayer for Christian unity in the Day of Unity of our country. The topic of this year's Week of Prayer - words of Jesus Christ to the Samaritan woman “Give me a drink” John 4:7.

From November 21 to 23, 2014 in the Catholic University of Lille 89th Social Week of France was held. It was attended by Deputy Director of the Institute of Ecumenical Studies, Iryna Rohovska, and Methodologist of MPES, Uliana Fedorovych. The Social Week of France was dedicated to life in a time of digital technology and tehnono-sciences.

A presentation of books by Kyrylo Korolevsky “Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky” and “Uniatyzm” was held in October in Lviv Holy Spirit Seminary. Books were presented by: hegumen of Svyato-Uspenska Lavra hieromonk Theodore (Martyniuk), Fr. Dr. Ivan Dacko, president of the Institute of Ecumenical Studies, Liliana Hentosh, senior co-worker of historical researches at LNU of Ivan Franko, and Bohdan Troianovskyi, director of publishing house “Svichado”.

Book “Josyf Slipyj. Memoirs” was presented in Lviv on September 11 during the XXI Lviv Publishers’ Forum. It's personal memories of Patriarch Josyf Slipyj, which are 50 years old since they were written. The publication is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the death of Patriarch Josyf Slipyj and is a bestseller of our time, as this manuscript has long been locked. This book became one of the 20 best books of the Forum 2014.

Student research and practice seminar on the topic “Responsibility of a Christian in today's society” was held on April 11th in the Ukrainian Catholic University.
